Terms & Conditions: 30 year Guarantee
WHO OFFERS THE VISPRING PRODUCT GUARANTEE?
The manufacturer of Vispring products is Vi – Spring Limited (UK Company number 00071430) (“Vispring” or or “we” or “us” or “our”) of Ernesettle Lane, Ernesettle – Plymouth PL5 2TT United Kingdom and telephone number +44 1752 366311 . Vispring gives this Product Guarantee for defects and faults for new Vispring Products sold in Australia on the following terms and conditions.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE IS IN ADDITION TO RIGHTS AT LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Any guarantee offered by Vispring is provided in addition to, and not instead of, any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law. Your statutory rights are not affected by this Vispring Guarantee.
THE VISPRING PRODUCT GUARANTEE
The quality of the materials and craftsmanship that goes into every Vispring luxury mattress and bed ensures their owners, with correct care, can enjoy many years of the finest sleep. How long you can, or want to, keep your mattress is usually down to personal preference and how well you have cared for your mattress. Most of our customers enjoy decades with their Vispring mattresses. However, it is important not to confuse how long you can enjoy your Vispring mattress with our guarantee. The guarantee is designed to protect you in the unlikely event of damage that is due to faulty workmanship or components.
The length of the guarantee varies depending on the product you have purchased:
Mattress and Divan Base Sets – 30 Years
Mattresses only – 30 Years
Ottoman Divan Bases – 5 Years (1 Year for gas struts)
Headboards – 2 Years
Mattress Toppers – 5 Years
Pillows and Duvets – 2 Years
Mattress Protectors and Pads – 12 months

GUARANTEE AND COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
If, during the guarantee period, your product requires attention please contact the store where you made your purchase. This is because the purchase contract of sale is between yourself and your retailer. Our retailers are highly trained and will be able to provide you with advice on how to proceed. If needed, they will contact Vispring on your behalf.

For any fault that has not been identified in the initial assessment, Vispring may at its discretion charge you for transport costs. For transportation outside of metropolitan areas or regional hubs, you are responsible for the delivery and collection of the mattress back to the store of purchase. However, if a fault has been identified, Vispring will cover and or refund all reasonable transport costs to service and/or repair the product.
Please note that Vispring reserves the right to approve transportation charges before they are incurred. If you wish to make a claim under the Warranty, please contact the Vispring’s Customer Care Centre (1300 540 377) before the expiration of the Guarantee period.
Additionally, Vispring may charge an up-front call-out fee before an inspection is carried out at any point during the mattress’s lifespan. This fee will be refunded if a fault is discovered.
The guarantee does not cover faults occurring due to unreasonable or improper use. Read on for full details on the guarantee.
30 YEAR GUARANTEE
To demonstrate our high standard of design, materials and craftsmanship, Vispring Limited (Ernesettle Lane, Plymouth PL5 2TT – UK) offers a 30-year guarantee on your mattress and divan base.
The following conditions apply to the Vispring guarantee:
Should an imperfection, which is due to faulty materials or workmanship, become apparent in your Vispring mattress or divan base, the company will endeavour to repair or replace it free of charge at our discretion.
- The Vispring guarantee only applies to mattresses and/or divan bases, purchased from an authorised retailer and which remain in the country of purchase.
- Only the original purchaser may claim under the Vispring guarantee. This guarantee is not transferable except if the claimant is able to prove that the guarantee was transferred to him and he has the original guarantee document.
- Any claim should be made by the original purchaser in writing to the supplying retailer within one month of the imperfection becoming apparent, along with proof of purchase (original invoice or sales receipt). The retailer will establish the nature of the alleged complaint and recommend an appropriate course of action. If the supplying retailer is no longer in business, please contact Vispring Customer Services on +44 1752 366311.
- This guarantee is not extended to goods which have been damaged through unreasonable or improper use; are accidentally damaged (including unauthorised repairs or alterations); are in a soiled or unsanitary condition or are wilfully damaged. Where mattresses are used on divan bases other than those supplied by Vispring, they must be of an appropriate quality of construction. In the case of slatted bases, the gap between the slats should be no more than 7.5 cms, and it is strongly recommended that a mattress pad is placed between the mattress and the slats to extend the life of the mattress. Please don’t smoke in bed or place the product near an open flame.
- The Vispring guarantee is not extended to cover normal wear and tear.
- Failure to follow the care instructions may invalidate the Vispring guarantee.
- Please do not remove the labels attached to your mattress, as they identify your mattress as a Vispring mattress and help to establish your rights under this guarantee.
- If the product in question has been discontinued and cannot be repaired, Vispring reserves the right to supply an equivalent alternative. If the product’s original fabric is no longer available, Vispring reserves the right to supply an alternative fabric. Vispring cannot undertake to match other items not under complaint with any substitute ticking (fabric) used.
- The Vispring guarantee only applies to mattresses and divan bases bases purchased after 1st September 2018.
- The Vispring guarantee commences on the date you register your guarantee and is valid for 30 years.
- In order to activate your Vispring guarantee, please register your purchase within 14 days from receipt of the goods, either on www.vispring.com or by post, sending the completed guarantee card you’ll receive with your bed.
- Failure to comply with these requirements will invalidate the Vispring guarantee.
- Following a repair, the Vispring guarantee will remain valid from the date of registration of the original product.
- Vispring highly recommends turning your mattress with the seasons.
- The other Vispring products are covered by a guarantee as set out below:
- Headboards & Surrounds: 2-year guarantee
- Toppers: 5-year guarantee
- Please note that the above guarantees do not include normal wear and tear nor misuse of the product nor extend to goods which have been damaged through unreasonable or improper use; are accidentally damaged (including unauthorised repairs or alterations); are in a soiled or unsanitary condition or are wilfully damaged.

The guarantee covers:
- Case stitching coming apart
- Faulty workmanship during manufacture, such as holes or fabric flaws, feather/down escaping from the product, migration or clumping of filling
The following conditions apply to the guarantee:
- The product must be returned in a clean sanitary condition, in a bed bag and with proof of purchase.
- Vispring reserves the right to use alternative, similar materials, where the original is no longer available, but cloth cannot always be matched to the original.
- Please adhere to washing and care instructions, otherwise you may not be protected under the terms of this guarantee
- In the event of a dispute, Vispring Limited may request a third-party inspection of the products by a recognised and qualified organisation such as FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association) before agreeing to carry out repairs / replacements.
- Subject to the following bullet point, your sole remedy under a Vispring guarantee is repair, replacement or a refund or credit note up to the purchase price of the original item (as applicable).
- Any guarantee offered by Vispring is provided in addition to, and not instead of, any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law. Your statutory rights are not affected by the Vispring guarantee.
- The terms of the Vispring guarantee and of the other guarantees offered by Vispring are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:
- Damage caused by abuse or unexpected wear and tear
- If there’s evidence of product abuse, misuse or use other than domestic by you or family
- If animals have been allowed to sleep or walk on the product
- Unsanitary pillows, mattress protectors or toppers
- Accidental damage – you may find that this type of damage is covered by your household contents insurance policy
- Servicing, inspecting or cleaning of the product
- Any failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
- Deliberate damage or neglect of the product
- Body impressions (also known as body signatures) on the surface of the mattress of less than as follows are a normal consequence of body impressions:
- 6 months – 1 year: 4 cm
- 1-2 years: 4.5 cm
- 2-7 years: 6 cm
- 7-15 years: 7.5 cm
- The upholstery filling settling to a final position, combined with the mattress conforming to your body’s individual contouring and weight and does not constitute a Fault. Body impressions are more noticeable on queen and king size mattresses. This is due to the centre of the mattress not being used as much as the sides. You may observe a higher area in the mattress centre during the first few years of use. This area will slowly settle as much as each side of the mattress. Rotating and caring for your mattress as instructed in this guide, will also assist with the management of your body impressions.
- Comfort selection is a personal choice. Dissatisfaction due to comfort choice does not constitute a fault under this guarantee.
- Mattress fabric damage caused by you including without limitation stains, burns, pilling, or loose covers.
- Some mattresses are fitted with handles for positioning the mattress on the foundation. These handles are not designed to be used for lifting the mattress which can result into the removal of handles and damage to the fabric. The damage caused by improper use of handles is not a fault.
- Issues relating to heat or temperature.
- Bed height and sheet fit are not faults.
- Natural odour of the foam or other materials used in our mattress.
- Minor manufacturing anomalies that do not impact the performance or function of the mattress (for example mis-stitching on quilting).
- Mattress size if it is within an acceptable tolerance of 2 cm.
- The Guarantee does not cover commercial use or other non-personal use of the Vispring Products (i.e. use of products for AirBnB rentals, Hotel or Motels, etc).
THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY TO THE GUARANTEE
- The product must be returned in a clean sanitary condition, in a bed bag and with proof of purchase.
- Vispring reserves the right to use alternative, similar materials, where the original is no longer available, but cloth cannot always be matched to the original.

Law and jurisdiction
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
