October 2014

For the first time this October, luxury British bed maker, Vispring, exhibited at I Saloni WorldWide Moscow.

The prestigious fair (15-18 October), celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is recognised as the benchmark home furnishing event for Russia and the countries in its geopolitical basin.

Vispring proudly presented its first ever leather headboard, Celeno; a sophisticated design combining two luxuriously soft, large leather cushions set against a handcrafted, solid oak frame standing 140cm tall and finished with delicate cream stitching.

The headboard is available in two colourways creating two very different schemes; the first, a fresh and delicate, natural wood with complementary cream leather, while the second is a bold, masculine combination of wengé and ebony.

Celeno is Vispring’s third collaboration with French designer, Terence Mesguich Jacquemin, and encourages you to recline comfortably, making the bed more than just a place for sleep; embodying the brand’s new ‘art of sleeping, art of living’ philosophy.

In addition to Celeno, Vispring showcased its refined collection of legs, the Berkeley headboard conceived by Belgium designer Dirk Debbaut, and its new model – Regent – which boasts silk and mohair in a single spring mattress, providing an exquisite level of comfort.

“As the only vehicle for high-end furnishings in the Russian market, we felt it was vital that we have a presence at I Saloni WorldWide Moscow. The new headboard – Celeno – was very well receive, as was our new Regent bed which is unparalleled in the market,” said Diana Clemente, Vispring’s agent in Russia.

More than 520 furniture companies exhibited at I Saloni WorldWide Moscow, with approximately 43,000 visitors attending during the four days, making it one of the most important trade shows in Europe.
